Accessibility Statement

In plain language

Our WCAG 2.1 AA conformance target, known limitations, and how to report an issue.

We want every student, parent, tutor, and administrator to be able to use Scoraide, including people who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought.

Our conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means sufficient color contrast, visible keyboard focus, full keyboard operation, meaningful labels and ARIA, text alternatives for non-text content, respect for reduced-motion preferences, and information never conveyed by color alone (correct, incorrect, and omitted answers also carry an icon and a label).

Known limitations

We are candid about where we are still improving:

  • Some data visualizations (score trend and timing charts) convey their full detail visually; we provide the underlying numbers in adjacent text and are improving screen-reader descriptions.
  • Downloadable PDF score reports are being brought to the same tagging standard as the in-app report.
  • The timed exam interface is designed to minimize distraction; if any timing or control is difficult with your assistive technology, contact us and we will help and prioritize a fix.

If you encounter a barrier, or need content in a different format, email support@venakaninfo.com with the page and a short description of the problem and your assistive technology. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and will work with you on a resolution.
